Stansbury Island provides pink lake views

Stansbury Island is the second largest on the Great Salt Lake, after Antelope Island. The island features beaches, biking and hiking trails, and petroglyphs and caves you can explore. The pink lake at Stansbury Island requires you to drive across the island to the far side. Once you get there, you can either walk along the shoreline or head up a trail to see it from above. The pink lake can be seen in the accompanying photos. The pink color is caused by bacteria and microorganisms that thrive in the lake's salty water. Go on an adventure and check it out for yourself!
